The State College Police Department, continue their investigation of multiple Theft cases that occurred in Centre County, Pennsylvania.

During the spring of 2007, Veolia Environmental Services located in State College, had a Pacific Pride fuel card either lost or stolen.  The PIN for that fuel card was written on the envelope that held the card.  Due to some confusion the fuel card was not cancelled by the company.

Between October 7, 2007 and December 20, 2007, the card was used to purchase diesel fuel at various locations in Centre County, Pennsylvania.  Among some of the locations where the card was used were the Clyde Avenue Pacific Pride Station, State College; Hawbaker Drive Station, Ferguson Township; as well as other locations in Bellefonte, all in Centre County.

During that time frame, the suspect(s) stole thousands of gallons of diesel fuel and gasoline.

In December 2007, three Pacific Pride customers observed a white male, approximately 6'1" in height, with a medium build, pumping diesel fuel into four or five 50 gallon drums at the Bellefonte Station near Interstate 80.  This man is believed to be a suspect in this case.  He was driving an American made, full size, dark colored pick up truck at the time.  He was described as wearing "work clothes" and wearing a baseball cap.

Investigators feel these incidents may be related to a similar incidents in Mifflin County Pennsylvania, investigated by Troop G, Lewistown, that occurred between March 27, 2008 and April 27, 2008.  Those incidents were featured by Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers on May 15, 2008, case number 1294.
